Keeping the A’s rooted in Oakland started as a project and a challenge for Oakland city government, but has morphed into a state and national project.
This is bigger than “Save the Whales.” This is “Save the A’s.”
How about it, Los Angeles and Barstow and San Francisco? How about it, Maine and Alabama and Alaska? Are you willing to kick in to help A’s owner John Fisher realize his vision of a massive waterfront development that will include a baseball park for the A’s?
